Three County Investigation Leads To Federal Drug Charges

PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Parke County Police say that 45-year-old Matt Huffman, of Terre Haute, and formerly of Montezuma, was arrested on February 22, in Terre Haute as the result of an investigation into meth sales.

The investigation was conducted by the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, Vigo County Drug Task Force and Indiana State Police Drug Enforcement Section.

Huffman was found in possession in excess of one pound of methamphetamine when he tried to flee on foot during a traffic stop at the time of his arrest.

He decided to cooperate after being tased.

Huffman was indicted on federal charges related to Dealing in  Methamphetamine and is currently in federal custody.
