Three Tigers Now Call Clay County Home

CENTER POINT, Ind – The Exotic Feline Rescue Center became the new home for three new tigers on Friday.

The refuge near Center Point in Clay County houses over 150 big cats including lions, tigers, leopards, pumas, bobcats and more.

The new arrivals came from a breeder in Texas who surrendered the cats when he could no longer properly care for them.

Duke Energy Crews helped to install old power poles that support metal fencing that make up the spacious new pens for the big cats.

You can tour the rescue for a small fee and they appreciate all donations.  Caring for that many cats is not cheap.  They require large amounts of meat and care.
