CLAY COUNTY, Ind.  – A tort claim has been filed with the Indiana Attorney General’s Office in connection to a case where a Northview High School teacher’s aid allegedly sent lewd photos to a 17 year old student.

Molly Lumsdon has been fired from her position.

The investigation began last September.

The attorney for the child and the family claims that the civil rights of the child and family were violated and is asking for $700,000 in damages for the victim and $5 million in damages for the family.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the Department of Child Services, and the Clay County School Corporation all received copies of the claim.
