Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest

VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Thursday night Vermillion County Police arrested 29 year old Joseph Butcher of New Goshen for possession of methamphetamine.

Butcher was stopped for registration and traffic violations and during the stop K-9 Byron gave a positive alert on Butchers’ vehicle.

During a search, deputies found methamphetamine in the driver’s seat and in the clothing of Butcher.

Butcher is being held in the Vermillion County Jail on $10,000.00 bond with 10% allowed.
