Trailer Brake Fire Shuts Down I-70

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – A semi-truck fire shut down the west bound lanes of I-70 Thursday.

It happened around 7 p.m. at the 31.5 mile marker.

The fire was caused by overheated trailer brakes.

No injuries were reported.
