VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – The trial of a man accused of attacking raping a woman started Monday in Vigo County Court with the seating of 12 jurors.

43 year old Harry Custer allegedly grabbed a woman who was looking for her dog and raped her at knife point.

Custer was arrested last summer following a police pursuit that ended south of West Terre Haute.

Custer is facing multiple felony charges and is accused of being a habitual offender.

The trial is not expected to last past Wednesday.
