VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A jury is now underway for a Terre Haute man accused of shooting and killing his 18 year old friend.

21-year-old Dylan M. Morgan faces multiple charges including murder in connection in the August 2018 death of Gage E. Eup at Morgan’s home in the 2200 block of Cleveland Avenue.

Morgan at first said Eup had shot himself but then later admitted to getting the gun from his bedroom and firing the handgun.

It is alleged that Morgan had threatened to shoot Eup if he did not change a song that was playing on the television. He then allegedly retrieved a handgun from his bedroom, and removed the magazine but there was still a bullet in the chamber. Morgan the pointed the gun at Eup and shot him in the face.

The trial will likely last until the end of the week.
