CLAY COUNTY, Ind – Saturday morning (7/28/18) around 3 a.m. Indiana State Police were called to the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the 24-mile marker for a truck crash.

Troopers say that they believe that a passenger car allegedly veered erratically into the driving lane, forcing the driver of a Budget Rental Truck to travel off the right side of the roadway, overcorrect, and travel back across both westbound lanes into the median impacting trees.

The driver, 43-year-old Antoine Leonard, and passenger Travon Ritchie suffered small cuts from glass, but refused treatment at the scene. The two were traveling to California.
