TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A public forum was held at the Vigo County Public Library last night for those running for Vigo County School board.

It focused on only the contested races for the 4th and 5th Districts.

Discussion of any pending litigation was off limits as current board members are prohibited from talking about it.

Still the main topic was trust in the school board.

In District 1 Susan Powers is running unopposed.

In District 2 Joseph Irwin III is also running unopposed

In District 4 incumbent David Lotter faces Scott Powell and Joni Wise

In District 5 incumbent Alpa Patel faces RoseMarie Scott
