Two-Pounds Of Meth Sent By Mail In Muncie

MUNCIE, Ind. – A package loaded with two pounds of meth was intercepted by police and postal inspectors in Muncie.

The package was sent to Muncie from Arizona, according to The Muncie Star Press.

Police were investigating suspicious activity at a home on Walnut Street when they learned that a 12-pound package was being delivered there by the U.S. Postal Service, reports The Star Press.

Police opened the package and found two one-pound packages of meth hidden inside a set of Copper Chef cookware.

The drugs had a street value of about $14,000.

Police are still looking for the intended recipient of the package.
