VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – Two Vigo County Commissioners say they will not run for re-election.

Brad Anderson (R) and Judy Anderson (D) announced during Tuesday morning’s meeting they will not be running for re-election.

Brad Anderson served five terms on the council before his election as a county commissioner in 2012.

 

Judy Anderson is in her 20th year as county commissioner. She also served one term on the county council.

The two Anderson’s are not related.

The third commissioner, Brendan Kearns will not be up for possible reelection until 2022.

The filing period for those wanting to run in the May primary begins Wednesday.
