VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – The U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Terre Haute Police Department went to the home on the 9100 Block of North Baldwin Street in northeastern Vigo County to look for a wanted man.

When police arrived they were told by a relative that the man they were looking for was inside and had multiple guns.

Police said the suspect did not respond to commands to exit the house.

The Terre Haute Police Department Special Response Team went in and found 39-year-old Joshua Lankford in a crawl space.

He was wanted for burglary, auto theft, and theft and is currently being held in the Vigo County Jail on $35,000 bond.

He is scheduled to appear in court today.
