VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – An update on a story where 45 dogs were found living in a Vigo County garage.

Six dogs were able to stay with the homeowner but the rest were taken in by the Terre Haute Humane Society.

In just a few weeks, nine dogs have been adopted out and nearly $2,000 has been raised for the shelter.

Some of the dogs need more care and training before they are able to go home with someone.
