PARKE COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation reports that Duke Energy along with Townsend Tree Service will be closing U.S. 41 in Parke County from Mecca Road south to C.R. 600 S. to remove several trees. These closures will begin on or after Wednesday, March 27 through Monday, April 1, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. through 4 p.m., weather permitting.

The detour follows S.R. 163 to S.R. 63 to U.S. 36 and back. Residential traffic and access to businesses will be maintained.
