TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – The Vigo County Veterans Council has announced that there will not be a Veterans Day parade this November.

The Veterans Council told News10 the cancellation is due to a lack of interest in the parade. It is unclear if that lack of interest comes from the community or those that put the parade on.

Officials have said that even though there will not be a parade a ceremony of some kind will be planed for the VFW Post 972. It is unclear just what kind of a ceremony will occur but our veterans will be honored.
