VIGO COUNTY, Ind.  – If you aren’t happy with your property tax assessment, your problems might be addressed soon.

The Vigo County Assessor will start informal hearings on property tax assessment appeals next week.

So far the office has processed 150 appeals.

Officials recommend that you can help make the hearing process move faster by bringing in ‘evidence of value.’

Formal hearings start after the November 6th elections.
