TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Vigo County Commissioners voted to approve a resolution at their Tuesday morning meeting that says that they support bringing a casino to the area.
The commissioners say the idea would boost the economy by bringing more jobs and improving the tax base.
They also say that along with a convention center others could be attracted to come to the area.
Local officials will be meeting with legislators in Indianapolis on February 6th.
