VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A favorable recommendation was given by a Vigo County Council committee this week to provide a 1.2 percent increase on the base salary for employees of Vigo County and for elected officials for 2019.
Part-time employees will receive a 20-cent per hour increase.
The pay increase was already included in a 2019 budget previously approved by the County Council. The council will vote to approve that pay hike at their meeting on October 9th.
That meeting will be held at the Terre Haute City Hall since the council meeting room will be used as an early voting cite at that time.
