VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – The Vigo County School Corporation is reconsidering its latest policy concerning lice and children in the school.

Earlier the corporation said that children found with head lice would not automatically be sent home and some parents have expressed concerns about that.

Now school officials will be looking for feedback from an expanded medical advisory board to be made up of parents, teachers, and community representatives.

The new procedure remains in place until the policy is reevaluated.
