Vigo School Protection Officer On Administrative Leave After Being Arrested In Parke County

VIGO COUNTY, Ind –   Parke County Police have arrested a man for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a juvenile female while he was employed in a coaching capacity in 2017 at the former Rockville High School, now Parke Heritage High School.

32-year-old Nathaniel “Jake” Arney was arrested for Felony Child Seduction and taken to the Parke County Jail where he is being held on a $15,000 cash only bond.

According to the Parke County Sheriff Arney is employed by the Vigo County Schools as a School Protection Officer.

A press release from Vigo County Schools says that a school protection officer has been placed on unpaid administrative leave but did not name Arney as that person.
