VIGO COUNTY, Ind – The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office is advising residents to be aware of a jail bond scam.

Deputies say that some individuals, who have recently been released on bond, have been receiving phone calls stating additional funds are requested or they will be arrested.

The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office will not call requesting additional funds.
