Wabash Valley Y Celebrates Fall With Special Events

VIGO, CLAY, COUNTY, Ind – The YMCA of the Wabash Valley is celebrating the fall season by holding a Community Appreciation Week.

Next week the YMCA will allow all members of the community the opportunity to try out the facility at no cost.

The Clay and Vigo County YMCAs will also be hosting their annual fall festivals, which are open to the community at no charge.

Clay County YMCA will hold a Family Fun Night and the Riddell National Bank Monster Mile Dash on Oct. 27.

On Nov. 3, Vigo County YMCA will open its doors for a free Fall Festival featuring trick-or-treating throughout the halls of the YMCA as well as Halloween-inspired arts and crafts, healthy snacks and games. This event is also free to the community.

The Vigo County YMCA will also host a School Is Out event on November 12 for children in kindergarten through sixth grade in need of day care while school is out. The cost is $25 for Y members and $35 for nonmembers.
