BENTONVILLE, Ark – Some businesses are slowing down due to the COVID-19 pandemic but Walmart is hiring to keep up with demand.

Walmart has announced it will be hiring 150,000 new associates nationwide through the end of May.

That includes 2,000 new hires right here in Indiana.

Walmart and the Walmart Foundation also announced a $25 million commitment to support organizations on the frontlines responding to COVID-19. The money will be distributed in a series of grants, each furthering the capacity of organizations to help communities affected by the pandemic.
