West Nile Still A Problem In Indiana

INDIANA – Many counties in Indiana, have had mosquito that have tested positive for West Nile Virus.

The Indiana State Department of Health says that there have been positive tests in Vigo, Clay, Sullivan, Greene, Putnam, and Knox Counties.

State officials are also aware of 13-human cases of the virus.

State health officials are reminding you to limit your exposure as much as possible and use insect repellant when you are outside during the most active times for mosquitoes which is in the late afternoon, dusk to dawn, and early morning.
