WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A West Terre Haute man faces several charges after reports of gunfire Wednesday evening.

Deputies were called to the 2300 block of North Orchard Place.

Police were told that a man was reportedly revving his engine when it became disabled and would not move.

That is when 25 year old Bradley Scott Timberman allegedly came out of a nearby home armed with a rifle, yelled at the driver and fired as many as five shots at the vehicle and then returned to his home.

Police had to taze Timberman as he was being arrested to convince him to cooperate.

Timberman made his first court appearance Thursday and faces charges of criminal recklessness, battery with a deadly weapon and resisting law enforcement.

He is being held on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court next Tuesday March 5.
