TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A West Terre Haute man received a four-year sentence Monday as part of a plea deal on a charge of sexual misconduct.

34-year-old Jesse Lee Clark will serve one year of work release followed by one year of home detention, as well as two years of probation.

He will have to register as a sex offender and will not be allowed to have contact with minors.

The maximum sentence Clark could have received was seven years.

Clark will be permitted to attend his children’s school events if the school approves.

He will also be allowed contact with his children, step children and grandchildren.
