West Terre Haute Woman Sentenced For Her Part In Mini-Mart Robberies

VIGO COUNTY, Ind – A West Terre Haute woman was sentenced in court Monday after pleading guilty to three counts of armed robbery and one count of child neglect.

32-year-old Katherine Thomas will serve a year on work release as part of a nine-year suspended sentence for armed robbery and child neglect as part of the plea deal.

Thomas has been assigned to pretrial work release since November and in September will begin serving probation.

It is believed that she drove the getaway car during three mini mart robberies in town.

32-year-old Samuel Nardi, of Terre Haute is a co-defendant and has a jury trial set for September 25.

He faces several charges in connection to the robberies.
