TERRE HAUTE,Ind – Teresa Pitts appeared in Vigo County court on Tuesday on a charge of assisting a criminal and obstruction of justice.

She is the sister of Kenneth Pitts.  He is accused of killing Anita Oswald

Police say that Teresa lied to them about knowing where her brother was or his alleged involvement in the murder of Oswald.

She also allegedly helped her brother hide Oswald’s body.

In court her trial date was set for November 13.

She remains in jail on $75,000.

A bond reduction hearing is set for June 21.
