SULLIVAN COUNTY, ind – A woman from Texas is in a local hospital after a bizarre accident last night in Sullivan county.

Sullivan county deputies say that just before eight last night the 23-year-old victim fell out of the back of an s-u-v on highway 41 near Frakes street.

Officers believe she was leaning against the back door when it opened, she was not wearing a seatbelt, and fell out.

The rear door had been damaged in an earlier incident.

The woman’s injuries are reportedly non-life threatening.

The woman was returning home to Texas with four other family members after a vacation.
