VIGO COUNTY, Ind – Saturday night (2-2-19) around 11:15 Indiana State Police saw a woman drive into the parking lot of a local restaurant and then stumble to the door of the restaurant which had recently closed.

Police say that the woman then tried to get back into her vehicle, which she had parked next to the Indiana State Police troopers’ fully marked cars.

Officers say that they could smell alcohol coming from the woman.

Troopers say that 25 year old Disney Smith, of Terre Haute refused to participate in any of the field sobriety tests and the certified breath test.

She was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Police say that her driving record indicated that she had a prior Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated conviction in 2016.
