INDIANAPOLIS – An Indianapolis woman is going to prison for 13 months over the illegal purchase of the gun used to kill a Boone County Sheriff’s Deputy.

Federal prosecutors say that woman, Dawn Rochon, bought the 9-millimeter hangun in February of 2017 from the Indy Gun Bunker store in Indianapolis after giving a false address.

It’s the weapon used in March of last year in the killing of Deputy Jacob Pickett.
