WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A West Terre Haute man has been arrested on charges of attempted rape, sexual battery and criminal confinement after allegations made by a minor.

26-year-old Levi Wells was arrested Wednesday after a minor accused him of raping her last year.

Police said Wells gave conflicting accounts of what happened.

He is set to appear in court May 12th.
