PUTNAMVILLE, Ind —Indiana State Police troopers from the Putnamville District will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint this upcoming weekend. The exact location and time will not be released. Motorists that are not impaired can expect only short delays of 2-3 minutes while passing through the checkpoint.
Troopers will also be conducting extra patrols throughout the weekend targeting dangerous and impaired driving.
The message is simple, if you plan to party this St. Patrick’s Day weekend, use a designated driver.
