VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Vermillion County Police arrested an Illinois woman who was found passed out behind the wheel in the median of I-74 Friday evening.

Officers received calls from motorists about an SUV driving recklessly and at a high rate of speed.

Police found that SUV in the median at the 5-mile marker with the female driver passed out in the locked vehicle.

Officers were able to unlock the vehicle and arrested 31-year-old Ashlee M. Olson of Manmouth, IL.

Deputies found several open containers of alcohol inside the vehicle.

Olson was taken to Union Hospital Clinton for treatment of a possible breathing problem where her blood alcohol level was found to be 0.198%.

She is facing multiple charges and was released Sunday after posting bond.
