VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Around 7:30 a.m. Friday morning Vermillion County Police were called to the Walmart Parking lot in Clinton on a fight in progress.

Officers say that 27 year old Meagen Kennedy of Clinton told officers that she was asleep in the truck with her boyfriend when her husband arrived on scene and pulled her by her hair from the truck and threw her on the ground. Her husband, 27 year old Christopher Kennedy also of Clinton,  then began chasing her boyfriend 29 year old James Chapman Jr. also of Clinton with a knife.

Police say that a fight between Christopher and James ensued and several punches were thrown. Officers separated the individuals.

Christopher Kennedy was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery (A-Misdemeanor), Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury (Level 5 Felony), Disorderly Conduct (B-Misdemeanor) and Intimidation (Level 6 Felony).
