TERRE HAUTE, Ind – The Vigo County Capital Improvement Board on Tuesday approved Nations Group as the board’s owner representative.
Nations Group will be in charge of overseeing the project to ensure it remains on budget.
Nations Group will be paid 3 percent or about $750,000 for their services.
The CIB is scheduled to select a construction manager at risk firm by September 10th.
Total cost of the convention center is budgeted at $25 million and the current timeline calls for the project to be completed by June 2020.
The CIB will holed their next meeting on August 15th at 9a.m.
