TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A Terre Haute man facing charges of attempted murder, armed robbery, criminal confinement, and ore was in court Wednesday.
On July 8th, 34 year old Dereck Worthington along with 40 year old Jon Thomas Marshall, allegedly went to the home of Marshall’s former stepfather and held the disabled man at gunpoint, threatened to kill him and robbed him of cash and other items.
They also allegedly beat the man and cut the hose to his oxygen tank.
Worthington is being held on $150,000 bond and has another court hearing on August 10th.
His trail date has now been set for January 7th.
