Plea Deal For Woman Accused In Fatal Shooting

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Terre Haute woman accused in the death of a Terre Haute man has accepted a plea deal.

32 year old Ashley Johnson was accused of killing David Carroll by shooting him in the chest at a home on North 18th Street last October.

Under terms of the agreement, Johnson pleaded guilty to robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and all of the other charges were dismissed.

The state recommends a 25-year sentence with the Department of Corrections.

Sentencing is set for October 30th.
