TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – A Vigo County Judge has changed the trial date for a Terre Haute man charged with the murder of a Terre Haute woman.
Kenny Pitts, Jr.’s trial was to start on December 10th but will now begin April 1st of next year, with a pretrial conference set for February 7th.
Pitts is accused of killing Alice ‘Anita’ Oswald.
Her body was found in a Vigo County pond a few months after she disappeared in November of 2017.
After Pitts was identified as a suspect, he was found at a campsite in Nevada.
