TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A Terre Haute woman was sentenced to 25-years in prison Tuesday as part of a plea deal.

32 year old Ashley Lynn Johnson, shot and killed 34 year old David Carroll at a home in the 4400 block of North 18th Street last year.

Judge Michael Lewis accepted Johnson’s guilty plea to robbery resulting in serious bodily injury and dismissed additional charges of murder, armed robbery, obstruction of justice, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking with an inmate and possession of paraphernalia.
