PARKE COUNTY, Ind – Parke County Sheriff Justin Cole reports that his department currently has a suspect detained in Rosedale who confessed to committing the theft of the Indiana State Police gun from a troopers vehicle early Monday morning.

Police say that this was the result of an investigation that was conducted by the Parke County Sheriffs Office in connection to thefts from vehicles in Rosedale.

Indiana State Police have been notified and have detectives at the scene now.

No other information has yet been released.
