TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Terre Haute Fire Department was called out to a home on Gilbert Avenue around 2:30 Saturday morning.

The home was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived.

One man was home when the fire started but was able to get out safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, but investigators say that the fire isn’t suspicious.

The house has been declared a total loss.
