Accident Leaves Over 200 With Out Power On East Side Of Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind – More than 200 people lost power overnight on Terre Haute’s east side in the area of SR 46 near the Village Quarter.

Authorities say that a crash last night around 11 p.m. caused the outages.

Duke Energy’s power outage website indicated that power was restored to affected customers before 10 a.m. Monday morning.

The southbound lane of SR 46 between Poplar and Margaret Streets was closed while crews made repairs.
