CLARK COUNTY, Ill.  – A single car accident Sunday morning has claimed the life of a Clark County woman.

Illinois State Police say that just after three Sunday morning 22-year-old Tania Wycoff of Marshall was traveling north on Illinois Route 1 when she lost control of her car.

The vehicle hit an embankment before rolling over several times.

Wycoff was not wearing a seat belt and was killed when she was thrown from the car.

The accident is still under investigation, but police say that speed was a factor in the accident.
