EPA Begins Cleanup Of Site In Shelburn

SHELBURN, Ind. – Crews from the Environmental Protection Agency is working to clean up hazardous materials at the former Hagen Manufacturing site in Shelburn.

The company did plastics molding research and design along with manufacturing.

The EPA says that hazardous substances were never removed from a lab on the property and that it could take several weeks to clean things up.

The town of Shelburn wants to build a new water park for children when the property is cleaned up.
