COLES COUNTY, Ill – A Terre Haute man is facing charges in a fatal crash that that happened Tuesday in Coles County, Illinois.

56-year-old James Miller faces charges of DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, disobeying a stop sign and improper use of an electronic communication device.

Reports are that it appears that Miller failed to stop at an intersection and struck a car driven by 38-year-old April Fisher of Mattoon,

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Miller was last listed in good condition at Carle Hospital in Urbana.
