MARSHALL, Ill.  – Marshall, Illinois fire crews were called out to battle a house fire at 4th and Poplar Streets Wednesday.

According to witness accounts, it started early Wednesday morning.

Due to the intensity of the flames, firefighters had to let the fire burn itself out.

A cause of the fire and other details have not been released.
