Tailgating Leads To $30,000 Drug Bust

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind – Just before 3 p.m. Friday afternoon an Indiana State Police Trooper stopped a minivan on west bound I- 70 near the 48-mile marker for following too closely.

The Trooper became suspicious and a K-9 officer was called for a free air sniff which resulted in an alert for narcotics.

A search of the vehicle discovered 15-pounds of suspected methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $30,000 dollars. The methamphetamine was individually vacuum sealed into 14 individual plastic bags.

Police arrested 23 year old Brooklyn Wagner and 26 year old Kortinee Glenn both from Springfield, Ohio.

Both face charges of Dealing and Possession of Methamphetamine.
