Proposal Would Suspend Drivers License From Stop Arm Violators

INDIANAPOLIS  — Tougher penalties for school bus stop arm violators are being proposed. An Indiana  senator is proposing suspending the driver’s license for 90 days the first time someone passes a stopped school bus.

The mother of three children fatally struck while crossing a northern Indiana highway to board their school bus is backing the move.

Brittany Ingle said Tuesday that she’s fighting to prevent other parents from facing the same tragedy.
