PARKE COUNTY, Ind –Parke County Deputies were called out Sunday to a single vehicle crash on US 36 west of Rockville.

Police say that when they arrived found the vehicle on it’s top.

The passenger, 83-year-old Wilma Jean Rice of Rockville was taken to Union Hospital in Clinton with non-life-threatening injures.

The driver, 83-year-old Jack L. Rice who was also from Rockville was transported to Union Hospital in Clinton where he later died.

Police say that It’s possible that he had a medical issue while driving causing the accident.

Rockville City Police, Adams Township Rescue and Parke County EMS assisted at the scene.
